SMK Sultan Omar Dungun is going to hold a special day called “English Day 2003”. Compared to last year, the English Language Panel normally had English week, but starting from this Wednesday, 9th April 2003 and two other Wednesdays in April the Panel is going to organize an English Day.

On these Wednesdays, various types of activity are going to be held fully in English which will involve all students and other non-English teachers. The activities and competitions which are planned to be carried out are NIE, Listening activity, language games, singing group competitions and many more. This programme is coordinated by Cikgu Azizah and assisted by other English language teachers. According to her, this programme is not only to encourage students to ‘befriend’ with English but also to prove that English is fun and easy to understand. Prizes will be given away on the last Wednesday of April and Mr. Ron Conveney, the Dungun English Language Coordinator is expected to officiate the closing ceremony.
